Based in Grande Prairie or Fort St John areas, the successful candidate will be responsible for a set territory covering a diverse group of customers including consultants, head offices, site personnel, and OEMs. Our core markets in this area include water & wastewater, pulp & paper, oil & gas.
- Technical Sales Representative for existing and new customer base in Grande Prairie and Fort St John areas.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand installed product market share.
- Provide technical support on products and promote various Centrix service offerings.
- Perform internal/external product seminars and presentations.
- Increase sales and profitability in assigned territory.
- Liaise with principal manufacturers.
- Self-motivated, independent individual with the drive to constantly learn and promote new sales.
- Work with difficult customers and resolve problems and issues.
- Communicate and interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office suite.
- Frequent travel between Grande Prairie and Fort St John areas.
- Frequent travel out of town and overnight.
- Quarterly Travel to Centrix offices for training, and product meetings.
- Participate in industry associations.
- Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Instrumentation Technology/Technician Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience within municipal, mining, and/or pulp & paper industries.
- Previous technical sales experience is an asset.
- Previous experience with valves and actuation in the water & wastewater, pulp & paper, oil & gas industry.
- Clean drivers abstract with an affinity for safety.
