  About this role:
  The Territory Sales Associate (TSA) sells and ensures best in class merchandising to include building displays, packing out product, and replenishing permanent secondary displays and maintaining salability of all authorized Hershey items.

  What will you do:

  • Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey Items in assigned territory.
  • Achieve all merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays.
  • Report weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within assigned territory.
  • Utilize tablets for Daily activity reporting, submitting upon completion of each day.
  • Responsible for Sales Territory – varies due to territory size, number of retailers, and location.
  • Ensure store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with plans.
  • Consult with buyers on product positioning and presentation plans.
  • Create and coordinate visual presentation of merchandise.
  • Coach sales staff on merchandise to meet customer needs.

  What We Need:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of retail customer communication and day-to-day retail operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
  • Valid Driver’s license and good standing driving record.
  • Personal auto insurance with minimum liability.
  • Must reside within assigned territory.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Detailed-oriented with fresh thinking.
  • Proficient in MS suite and familiar with iPad technology.
  • Willingness to be part of a high performing team.

  Education: High School

  Additional Details:
  This is a part-time position – 6 hours per day, Monday to Thursday for a total of 24 hours/week. Access to a personal vehicle for which mileage rates will be paid.
